Vanda Kennedy has been in the reverse mortgage and real estate businesses for over 11 years. During this time, her primary goal as a Reverse Mortgage Consultant, has been to make sure her senior clientele are informed and feel comfortable about their decisions. Vanda has been recognized as an expert in the reverse mortgage field having been awarded as one of the top Reverse Mortgage Consultants in the US in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Elected honorary member of the Biltmore Who’s Who Among Executives and Professional Women in the 2008 Honors Edition.
Over the past 6 years, Vanda chose to specialize ONLY in the reverse mortgage product. Vanda has been a leading reverse mortgage Consultant and premier community educator, providing countless seminars and one on one consultations, to educate both financial professionals and the local senior community on the truths and myths about reverse mortgages.
Vanda has provided hundreds of seniors in Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina, with beneficial information first and when appropriate, a reverse mortgage product specifically tailored to meet the seniors intended goals. Vanda is dedicated to assisting seniors achieve a better quality of life using this ingenious financial tool to allow them to convert their home equity into liquid tax-free cash, in order to maintain their financial independence and dignity, one senior at a time.
In her spare time Vanda is a competitive triathlete, Masters Swimmer, Special Olympics volunteer, member of the Woo-Hoo Sistah’s (non-profit organization) raisng money for cancer research and autism, and a Westminster-Canterbury senior retirement living community volunteer.
