Hello, my name is Linda Wheeler. I am a Reverse Mortgage Specialist with Reverse Mortgage Pro. That means I spend my days educating people about the reverse mortgage products and programs that allow senior homeowners to borrow from the equity in their home and improve their financial quality of life during their retirement years.
In January, 2008, I became a Certified Senior Advisor. That distinction means I have specialized training and professional expertise that encourages successful aging.
I was born and raised as one of six children on a farm in Iowa. As a child I couldn’t wait to move away. Now, with the wisdom of age, I recognize it as one of the finest places on earth!!
My working career began as a schoolteacher. In 1980 I was blessed to meet and marry a “sailor”. Matt is retired. Our daughter, Lauren, attends ODU and our son, Matthew, is a senior at Cox High School.
In 1994, while my husband was working in San Diego, I was introduced to the field of reverse mortgages and am proud to be serving in that capacity here in Hampton Roads.
